BOTM: Block One

In Block One, we will build on the foundation stitches of all knitting - knit and purl. The knitting in Block One creates a chevron like pattern with just these two stitches. The block is constructed with seed stitch borders and a center body where the pattern comes to life.

The body of the pattern will increase pattern reading skills. As the pattern is challenging enough to have to read each line carefully. But as the pattern becomes more comfortable, confidence will be gained with each row.

Tips on tracking your work will be given in class.
