Pattern shown is 2 of 3. This design is called Dock Of The Bay.

Clever knits and purls create a woven-like, all over texture, to this grab and go hat. The pattern offers 4 sizes and options for a classic beanie or cozy slouch. of course there is always an option to top with a pom!

RECOMMENDED: 
North Bay Fiber, Heritage (100% Targhee-Polypay; 150 yd / 137 m per 50 g); 1 (1, 1, 1) skein for beanie version and 1 (1, 2, 2) skein(s) for slouchy version.

OR: Heavy DK, Light Worsted Weight yarn in the following amount:
• Beanie Version: 85 (107, 128, 150) yds / 77 (97, 116, 136) m
• Slouchy Version: Approx 128 (156, 223, 260) yds/ 116 (142, 203, 236) m

Sample shown is size medium slouch in color Pumpkinseed.

 
GAUGE:
20 sts x 26 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in pattern, worked in the round, and blocked

 

NEEDLES:
Needles listed are suggested. Always take time to swatch.
• Gauge Needle: Size US 6 (4.0 mm) 16"/40cm circular needles and DPNs—or size necessary to obtain gauge
• Smaller Needle: Size US 3 (3.25 mm) 16"/40 cm circular needles — or one three sizes smaller than gauge needle
